Eric Krasno will be the latest to take over New York City’s intimate Blue Note Jazz Club, plotting a four-day, eight-set residency from May 16-19.

Thundercat, Robert Glasper and Cory Henry are some of the famous faces that have staged their own Blue Note residencies as of late, not to mention Bob Weir & Wolf Bros surprise pair of pop-up shows earlier this month at the historic club.

For his residency, Kraso will be joined by a number of “Friends,” including keyboardist Nigel Hall of Lettuce and multi-instrumentalist Louis Cato (who both logged time in Krano’s Chapter 2 band). The lineup will be rounded out by bassist Chris Loftlin, and a number of surprise special guests.

Shows will kick off at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. each evening, and tickets can be found at BlueNoteJazz.com.
