Guitarist John Kadlecik is currently leading his band through a run of Florida shows, and the group welcomed a special guest in Dead & Company bassist/South Florida resident Oteil Burbridge during the JKB’s performance at the Funky Biscuits in Boca Raton, FL, on Thursday evening.
As JamBase reports, Burbridge emerged at the end of the second set to hop in on two songs, taking the spot of regular JKB bassist Robin Sylvester for Kadlecik’s “What’s Become of Mary” and a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).”
