This March, Warren Haynes will bring “A Symphonic Experience” to his hometown of Asheville, NC.

According to the show announcement, on Saturday March 16, Haynes will be “joined by the Asheville Symphony Orchestra for a symphonic take on his classic, career-spanning material,” including his work with the Allman Brothers Band, The Dead and Gov’t Mule. Additional musicians for the outing will include bassist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist John Medeski and drummer Jeff Sipe.

“This is a project I’ve been thinking about ever since I was given the opportunity to interpret and celebrate the music of Jerry Garcia with a symphony a few years ago,” Haynes explained in a statement. “When I was recently asked to perform at the Amadeus Festival it seemed like a great opportunity to start diving into my own repertoire and continue my symphonic journey. I am so lucky to be able to begin this with three of my favorite musicians in the world; Oteil, John and Jeff.”

Dreams & Songs: A Symphonic Experience will take place on March 16 at Asheville, NC’s Thomas Wolfe Auditorium.

Presale for the show will start on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 12 Noon ET. General onsale will be available Feb. 1 and 10 a.m. ET.
