Kurt Vile has released a new track, “Timing is Everything (And I’m Falling Behind)” today exclusively on Amazon Music, following up Vile’s latest full-length album, Bottle It In, which was release this past fall.

A post on Vile’s Facebook page calls the new song, which can be heard below, “a candid snapshot of KV & the Violators ‘at home’ where we like it: sparse and jangly and as live as possible.” The note also explains that the track “was one of many contenders” for Bottle It In, and fans can expect more one-off releases in the near future.

Vile and his Violators head out on an extensive run of 2019 world tour dates next month, starting in the Northeast and Canada. Listen to “Timing is Everything (And I’m Falling Behind)” and see those tour dates below, and read more about Vile and Bottle It In in a recent feature from the December issue of Relix here.
