Guster will celebrate the release of their new album Look Alive with two special – albeit unorthodox – shows in New York City.

The first – on Tuesday, Jan. 15 – will primarily be a comedy show, featuring members of New York’s Upright Citizen’s Bridgade troupe at UCB East. According to a press release, “the band will participate in skits throughout the night and surprises are sure to ensue.”

The second show – on Friday, Jan. 18 – will partly consist of an acoustic performance at the Strand Rare Book Room, followed by an informal Q&A with moderator Ted Allen, best known as the host of Chopped.
