Brooklyn-based folk singer Bonehart Flannigan recently shared the lead single off his sophomore LP American Mayhem, an Americana-laced tune dubbed “Rough Patch.”

Flannigan – who was born Jon Dell – crafted the record at Brooklyn’s Cowboy Technical Services and the new release features Eric Krasno Band alum Stu Mahan on bass, as well as pianist Roy Williams, guitarist John Shannon, cellist David Moss, fiddler-vocalist Andrea Asprelli and drummer Peter Barr on drums.

The singer songwriter will celebrate the release of American Mayhem with a show at New York’s intimate Rockwood Music Hall on Jan. 12, the same day the album hits all streaming services.
