Guitarist John Kadlecik led his Golden Gate Wingmen in a special performance on Saturday night at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA, during which the group—which also features keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, bassist Reed Mathis and drummer Jay Lane—welcomed venue proprietor Bob Weir for several tunes during the first set.
Weir first emerged for a Kadlecik-led run of latter-day Grateful Dead cut “Lazy River Road,” followed by two Bob Dylan songs, “Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again” and “Maggie’s Farm.” Weir provided lead vocals on both covers, along with the following three Dead selections, “Cassidy,” “Lady with a Fan” and “Terrapin Station.” Weir’s sit in then rounded out with a set-closing “Going Down the Road Feeling Bad.”
See the Wingmen’s full setlist below, and check out full video of the performance (via Deadheadland).

December 10, 2018 at 3:41 pm“Nobody told me” obviously a nod to John Lennon who died on 12/8/80. Wish article mentioned that.
