Lettuce have announced they will return to Colorado’s famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre next summer for another round of Rage Rocks, which will feature two sets of the host band—including one set of Jerry Garcia Band covers—along with support from TAUK and The Soul Rebels.

At the show, set for June 25, 2019, Lettuce will be reprising their JGB set that the funk outfit offered at this year’s LOCKN’ Festival, when they were joined by former bandmate Eric Krasno and Dead & Company’s Bob Weir, John Mayer and Oteil Burbridge.

“The scenery and feeling at this divine location in Morrison, Colorado makes Red Rocks Amphitheatre a multi-sensory experience by itself,” Lettuce bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes notes in a press release. “Add in two tablespoons of Jimi Hendrix’s historic performances here, a half cup of The Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia’s legendary shows at the venue, and a heaping quart of the Count Basie big band’s gigantic vibe and lingering presence that is emanating from the area and you have yourself one immense vortex of goodness. It is hands down one of our very favorite venues in the country and is incomparable to any other place. Long live Colorado and it’s band of merry pranksters.”

Tickets for Rage Rocks 2019 go on sale this Friday, December 7, at 10am MST, with a pre-sale beginning tomorrow, December 4, at 10am MST. Next up for Lettuce is their New Year’s Eve run in Texas, kicking off on December 28 in Houston. See the band’s full schedule here.
