On Nov. 14, exploratory jam quintet Ghost Light offered up new covers and new originals at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT.
After a first set that included a debut of “Living on Thin Line” by The Kinks and a closing take on American Babies’ “Joeline,” the group opened the second half with a new original dubbed “Doorway to a Silent Chamber.”
Set two also included the band’s first take on “Black Star” by Radiohead as well as “Weight of the World” and “Old Fashioned” by American Babies,
Ghost Light closed the show with their original “Best Kept Secret,” and encored with Bob Dylan’s “Tangled Up in Blue,” complete with a South Park reference by drummer Scotty Zwang.
