The Barr Brothers have announced a run of Canadian shows in 2019 that will feature two separate three-night stints, in Toronto and their hometown of Montreal, where the band will offer full performances of each of their three studio albums.

At Toronto’s Mod Club February 28–March 2 and at Montreal’s Corona Theatre March 7–9, the Barrs will play all of their 2011 self-titled record, 2014’s Sleeping Operator and 2017’s Queens of the Breakers over the three nights at each venue.

“Nostalgia, as a loose rule, is generally an impulse we try to avoid, or at least rely on sparingly,” the band writes in an announcement for the “An Album Nightly” series. “But when the reality sets in that a decade’s worth of music has gone down on our watch, and to have seen it unfold with the help of our amazing family of musicians and the support of such a giving audience as yourselves, we feel it’s a good time to look back and acknowledge the path we’ve traveled.”
