Buffalo, NY-based outfit Aqueous have announced the theme for their upcoming Halloween show in Brooklyn, when the band will adopt a “Nicktoons” musical costume that is sure to produce cover of some classic Nickelodeon shows.

“We take Halloween pretty seriously over at camp AQ,” guitarist Mike Gantzer says, noting that the band will be “diving down this rabbit hole of nostalgia” to honor a “golden era of cartoon history” that included shows such as Doug, Rocko’s Modern Life, Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, Hey Arnold and Spongebob Squarepants, among others.

Tickets to the Halloween show, which will take place at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory and will feature support from Mungion, can be found here. All Aqueous tour information can be found at the band’s website.

In other Aqueous news, Gantzer is taking part in SiriusXM’s Jam On channel’s Roll Your Own guest DJ series, with the guitarist’s segment set to run October 18 at 2pm ET, October 20 at 5pm ET and October 21 at 1pm ET.
