In a recent Instagram post, the Infamous Stringdusters revealed that they have completed the follow-up to their 2017 Grammy-winning LP Laws of Gravity.

“Such an incredible last 8 days in the studio,” the band wrote. “We got deep into a bunch of new music and we are really excited about the way things turned out.”

The string quintet worked with engineer/co-producer Billy Hume on this upcoming release, and they are set to perform at a number of festivals this summer including DelFest, Dark Star Jubille and Telluride Bluegrass Festival.

Earlier this year, Infamous Stringdusters also announced their own label, Tape Time Records, signing fellow bluegrass outfit Horseshoes and Hand Grenades in the process.

“It felt like putting together a label that could almost be a community, similar to the way that it works in the live scene,” Andy Falco told Jambands.com.
