moe. will return to the stage this February at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, marking the end of their indefinite hiatus that came as a result of bassist Rob Derhak’s cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment earlier this year.

The band originally cancelled a run of 2017 dates after getting the news, but will make their return to performing with a two-night stay at the Cap on February 2–3.

“It’s been a tough few months, and I couldn’t have done it without the overwhelming support of my family, and my famoe.ly,” Derhak says in a press release. “And although it’s still not clear what the future brings, the positivity and love that I’m feeling for moe.’s and my next chapter is beyond exciting. I feel like a kid counting down the days until Christmas, and our energy as a band, is like nothing I’ve experienced before. Thank you all for the well wishes, prayers, and healing vibes.”

Kung Fu will open the show on February 2, with the following night billed as “an evening with moe.” Tickets for both performances go on sale this Friday, November 17, at 10am EST, with a limited pre-sale beginning tomorrow, November 15, also at 10am, and can be purchased here= (Friday) and here (Saturday).
