In a new interview with Billboard, Mike Gordon dishes on his new album OGOGO as well as the band’s recent Baker’s Dozen run, including some of his favorite musical moments.

“I really liked the first Sunday,” Gordon said, referring to the Red Velvet night that featured Velvet Underground covers. “But the one I liked playing and listening back was the last Friday, the ‘Lemon’ night. We did the Radiohead cover and some of the jamming [in that set]. ‘Scents and Subtle Sounds’ was probably my single favorite track to listen to back.”

Gordon’s new album OGOGO is out today and his solo tour kicks off September 22 in Athens, GA. Consult the full schedule here.
