Eric Krasno Band is currently on a run of shows with Marcus King Band, and at the two bands’ show at Gramercy Theatre in New York City this past weekend, the night featured cross sit ins during both the opening and closing sets, as the bands came together to honor the late Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks, who died last week at the age of 69.

At the end of the opening set, bandleader and guitarist Eric Krasno emerged to help Marcus King and company with the ABB classic “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” while the members of King’s band returned during Krasno’s headlining set to join in on another Trucks tribute, “Whipping Post.” Watch a video of both collaborations above and below.

Krasno and King will wrap up their bands’ run of dates tonight at Shaka’s Live in Virginia Beach.
