Nine Inch Nails will finally make good on frontman Trent Reznor’s statement that the band would return with new music in 2016, as their new EP, Not The Actual Events, will be released next week on December 23.

The album will be the first new music from NIN since 2013’s Hesitation Marks, though Reznor has kept busy with film scores and more. According to a press release, the new music takes “an unexpected left turn” from the previous album. A pre-order of the album is available at the band’s website.

NIN will also release a special edition vinyl of their 1999 album The Fragile, which Reznor has reimagined by removing the vocals and altering the music, yielding The Fragile: Deviations 1. The band has further plans to release all of their previous albums as “definitive editions,” the first three of which are now available for pre-order.
