Singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale has announced he will release his 28th album, This Changes Everything, on September 30 on his own Sky Crunch Records. The album follows up last year’s Soul Searching.
Recorded in Austin, TX, the album pairs the Grammy-winning Lauderdale, who has collaborated with the likes of lyricist Robert Hunter and producer Luther Dickinson in the past, with musicians like pedal steel player Tommy Detamore, bassist Kevin Smith, who plays with Willie Nelson, Steve Earle guitarist Chris Masterson and more.
Later this month on September 21, Lauderdale will be honored by the Americana Music Association, as George Strait will present the songwriter with the WagonMaster Lifetime Achievement award at this year’s Honors & Awards show.
