Phil Lesh & Friends played a free show at Terrapin Crossroads last night as they honored a year of the Grateful Dead as voted on by the fans. While the year was kept secret, the group came out and recreated the 5/19/77 show from the Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
While the group, that included Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Scott Guberman, Ezra Lipp, Alex Koford and Elliott Peck, stuck to the script for the two sets, they added one wrinkle to the end of the show as the encored with “And We Bid You Goodnight,” which was not previously played at the original show.
