Singer-songwriter Ruthie Foster and Vintage Trouble frontman Ty Taylor sat in wit Gov’t Mule yesterday at the Doheny Blues Festival in Dana Point, CA. Foster made her appearance in the middle of the first set for a take on Etta James’ classic “I’d Rather Go Blind,” while Taylor took the stage for a cover Al Green’s “Take Me To The River.”
Both Foster and Taylor were at the festival with their own projects as well. Other artists on the bill include Gregg Allman, Buddy Guy, The Doobie Brothers, Keb’ Mo’ and Charles Bradley & The Extraordinaires.
