San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival will offer free webcasts of a number of performances from this year’s event, which takes place this weekend, October 4-6. The three stream channels will be hosted by Moonalice’s MoonTunes live video platform.

In keeping with the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass spirit, the event will only be streaming sets by band’s that have opted into the program. This means that there is currently no streaming schedule, though that will change as artists begin confirming.

This year’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass will once again take place in Golden Gate Park, and the free event will feature sets by The String Cheese Incident, Bonnie Raitt, Justin Townes Earle, Gogol Bordello, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers featuring Edie Brickell, Moonalice, Trampled By Turtles, Los Lobos, Peter Rowan Bluegrass Band with Yungchen, Father John Misty, Steve Earle and The Dukes, Boz Scaggs, Bety LaVette, The Wood Brothers, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers and more.
