The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Cake, The Flaming Lips, Rodrigo y Gabriela, The Shins, Ben Harper and Mavis Staples are among the first acts to be confirmed for the brand new Napa Valley Music and Arts Festival. The three-day event is set to take place in Napa Valley, CA May 10-12. The inaugural fest promises more than 50 rock, soul, country and hip-hop artists, as well as hundreds of culinary choices, 13 comedians and plenty of booze options from 300 area wineries and breweries. The organizers will reveal five more bands from the lineup every day this week on San Francisco’s KFOG radio station. With all of those stellar acts already on the bill after only two days worth of announcements, the Napa Valley Music and Arts Festival is looking like a new event worth paying attention to.
