As part of Jam Cruise’s 10th voyage celebration, the ship’s promoters Cloud 9 debuted the electronic-themed companion festival Holy Ship this past weekend. The dance event took place on the same ship as Jam Cruise—the MSC Poesia—and featured a diverse mix of electronic acts such as Fatboy Slim and Skrillex. Korn frontman Jonathan Davis also made a surprise appearance to play a set of dubstep. While approaching Port Lucaya on Grand Bahama Island, the ship experienced some problems however when it got stuck in some sand dunes. Fortunately, the ship’s captain and staff were able to free the MSC Poesia after a few hours of prying and Holy Ship resumed its voyage. In answer to one of the most popular questions aboard Jam Cruise, 17 people attended both Jam Cruise and Holy Ship.
