On February 4, Jherek Bischoff And The Wordless Music Orchestra will perform at New York’s Merkin Concert Hall as part of the Ecstatic Music Fest. The musical polymath will be joined by an all-star cast of guest vocalists during the show, including David Byrne, Craig Wedren (Shudder To Think), Greg Saunier (Deerhoof), Mirah and Zac Pennington (Parenthetical Girls). In addition to the Wordless Music Orchestra, the show’s backing band will be supplemented by a number of Bischoff’s long-time collaborators, marking the first-ever collaboration between Wordless Music and the Ecstatic Music Festival. Bischoff’s forthcoming release, which is due in February, is slated to feature all of the above-mentioned vocalists.
