On September 23, Primus will begin a tour supporting its forthcoming studio album, Green Naugahyde. The group will perform two sets of music a night from September 23 in Boston through October 22 in Los Angeles as it hits the road following the September 13 release of the new record. Then on October 29, the Oddity Faire will return. Rather than a complete run of dates as in 2009 and 2010 this looks like it may be a one-off. The show is set for Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA, with the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group also confirmed. In addition, Les Claypool and Primus promise, “all sorts of freaks and sideshow performers…The Greek Theatre is Les’ favorite venue, so except nothing less than an all-out Freakfest on October 29th.”
