Tea Leaf Green kicked off an extensive 2011 tour at Crystal Bay, NV’s Crystal Bay Club this past Saturday. The group debuted a new song second set that segued into “The Devil’s Play.” Though the band is off tonight, TLG guitarist will play a solo show at Salt Lake City, UT’s Urban Lounge. Meanwhile, bassist Reed Mathis is in Brooklyn, NY recording with Jon Fishman, Al Schnier, Steve Kimock, Matt Butler and many others as part of an Everyone Orchestra album. The members of Tea Leaf Green will then regroup for a performance at Bloomington, IN’s Bluebird this Thursday.
