Drummer Mike Greenfield and guitarist Eric Zeiler were once bandmates in the Philadelphia-based jamband The Ally. From there they went on to co-found electronic pop group Xylos. Greenfield left Xylos to become a member of Lotus (and has helped out the Disco Biscuits as of late), while Zeiler has remained with Xylos, which recently was named by the New York Post as one of “10 Artists to Know in 2011.” On April 5, the band’s self-titled debuted will be released. Chairlift producer Britt Myers worked on album, which will come out on the group’s own 1000x Records.
