On September 24, Los Lobos will return to the road in support of the group’s new album. Tin Can Trust is the band’s first studio release of original material in four years. As the group’s Steve Berlin explained to our Senior Editor Randy Ray in an extensive interview posted earlier this week, “The guys were going back to the old neighborhood every day, and, in some way, that definitely informed the record. I know the vibe was there, and there was a lot of reflection going on.” As for the group’s live dates, the year’s end will find the band in New York City performing twice at the City Winery. Los Lobos will deliver an early show at 7:30 followed by separate entry performance at 11:00PM to ring in 2011.
