Baltimore artist Jess Pfohl will display his work at Baltimore, MD’s Hard Rock Café this month. The exhibit, POP Rocks!, features 8 7-foot painted rock photographs taken by longtime Relix/Jambands.com contributor Michael Weintrob and are inspired by American painter, printmaker, and filmmaker Andy Warhol and his Factory.

A reception for POP Rocks! will take place at the Hard Rock on July 24. The free outdoor event will run from 12 PM-2 AM featuring performances by Some Cat From Japan (Will Bernard, Scott Metzger Nigel Hall, Ron Johnson and Eric Bolivar), Eric McFadden and Tom Hamilton’s American Babies. Baltimore bands RAKKASAN, Tek Sub Port and Dinosaur Project will also perform. The night will end with a sit in-heavy performance by Wyllys. The event celebrates the opening of JessMessin’ Studyo!, which islocated at 810 N. Calvert St. in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon Art District, as well as the collaboration of Weintrob and Pfohl.
