Singer St. Vincent performed in the Allen Room at New York’s Jazz Lincoln Center on Friday night. Just under a week after playing with Justin “Bon Iver” Vernon at Brooklyn, NY’s Music Hall of Williamsburg, St. Vincent invited the musician out for “Laughing With a Mouth of Blood” during her set. Vernon later returned for “Roslyn” with The National guitarist Bryce Dessner before St. Vincent covered The National’s “Mistaken for Strangers.” David Byrne, who booked St. Vincent in his Bonnaroo tent last year, also appeared on “Breathing.”

The National has added a headlining show at Brooklyn, NY’s Prospect Park on July 27. Please click here for an exclusive interview about the band’s new album.
