Yonder Mountain String Band has released a new set of songs through iTunes. The Show: Solo Acoustic Recordings features acoustic versions of the songs featured on the band’s new album The Show. After recording the show in Los Angeles with producer Tom Rothrock, each member of the band went into the studio in Boulder, CO this summer and recorded solo versions of the songs they wrote on the album. Many of the songs of The Show flesh out the traditional Yonder sound with drums. The group will appear at Pittsburgh, PA’s PA Mr. Small’s Funhouse on October 6.
