Although Marco Benevento is in the midst of a trio tour, tonight he will draw in some additional players for a special performance in New Orleans. Benevento will appear at the Blue Nile in an ensemble with Stanton Moore, Johnny Vidacovich and Kirk Joseph. In addition, some notable guest musicians are expected to attend and participate in the proceedings. Marco will then return to the Blue Nile on Saturday in the trio format with Moore and Peter Harris. In other Benevento news, a video of his song “Now They’re Writing Music,” directed by Michael DiDonna has just been posted to the Royal Potato Family website.
