Longtime Friend of Phil Lesh and Bruce Hornsby collaborator John Molo has signed for a new gig. He will begin performing with Moonalice, stepping in for Jim Sanchez ‘who has left the band for personal reasons but remains a dear friend and member of the Moonalice tribe.’ Moonalice, which released its self-titled studio album last month also consists of GE Smith, Pete Sears, Barry Sless, Roger McNamee, Ann McNamee and ‘occasional seventh member’ Jack Casady. Molo will join the group in time for its next gig this coming Saturday at Geneva, MN’s Bella Music Fest. Moonalice has gained renown as of late for its live Twittercast and the band also has started a ‘Zombie Twittercast,’ which offers up archived performances with a new Zombie Twittercast set for this coming Friday.
