The Flaming Lips are set to close out the Pitchfork Music Festival next month in Chicago. The Lips will take the stage on Sunday night, July 19 at Chicagos Union Park for what will be a ‘Write the Night’ show. Everyone who has purchased a ticket to the show will have a chance to vote on prospective songs with the band pledging to ‘do their best to accommodate.’ Additional details about ‘Write the Night’ and the event as whole (which also features Built to Spill, Tortoise, Yo La Tengo, The Jesus Lizard, The National, Blitzen Trapper can be found at the festival website.
