Victor Wooten is currently focusing on his solo repertoire while the Flecktones are off the road. Last weekend, the bassist performed at Clevelands House of Blues and invited local bassman Freekbass to the stage to jam during his set. Freekbass has performed with an impressive mix of musicians in recent years and his new most recent album Junkyard Waltz features the likes of Bernie Worrell, Buckethead, Mike Gordon, Jen Durkin and Mudbone. Next up, Freekbass will perform at Bloomington, INs Uncle Festers on April 11, while Wooten will appear at Greenville, SCs The Handlebar tomorrow.
