Two days before the upcoming election, the Boulder Theater will serve as the locale for the Conscious Alliance’s Pr-O-bama Jam. The event is billed as a pre-election rally, drawing in such performers as Michael Kang, Michael Travis, Patrice Blanchard, Joey Porter, Dominic Lalli and Scott Messersmith. A number of speakers also will participate including Iraq War Veteran Lee Gerry, Zero Hero’s John Longsuch. The Conscious Alliance will be on hand to share information regarding its hunger relief efforts. In addition, numerous other organizations will be on hand, such as Our Future Now, which will emphasize its efforts ‘to spread environmental and social awareness by combining art, science and community.’ Additional speakers and performers will be announced in the coming days.
