Keller Williams and the Yonder Mountain String Band continued their co-bill tour this past weekend. As with all of the preceding dates, Yonder closed out its set bolstered by Williams for the encore. On Friday at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC, the five musicians collaborated on covers of ‘Girlfriend Is Better’ and ‘Bertha.’ The next night at the Myrtle Beach, SC House of Blues, it was ‘Fingerprint’ and ‘Word Up.’ Then on Sunday at the Loudoun Summer Music Fest, Ashburn, VA, Williams opened for Yonder and later stepped out towards the end of their set during ‘Crow Black Chicken’ and again for the three song encore: ‘Don’t Let Go,’ ‘Steam Powered Aereoplane’ and ‘Shady Grove.’ Tonight both groups will perform at Summerfest in Milwaukee and then they will travel to Indianapolis to appear at the Egyptian Room on Wednesday.
