Freekbass is currently on the road supporting a new live release grooveyard. However the man and his band will return to his home town of Cincinnati this weekend for a special performance. On Friday June 13, Freekbass will take the stage at approximately 5 PM at the Great American Ball Park. The venue is the home to the Cincinnati Reds, and the team will resume interleague play a few hours later, revisiting the 1975 World Series with a visit from the Boston Red Sox. The Reds generated quite a bit of excitement last evening when Ken Griffey Jr. hit career home run 600. The game will start at approximately 7:10, with the Freekbass performance segueing into the Red Sox initial plate appearance at the top of the first inning before the home team steps up in the bottom of the first.
