Dave Matthews Band has confirmed its summer tour plans. The group will cross the country from May 30 through September 7, with a range of openers. Many of the tour stops will be multiple night runs, including a pair of three nights stands at the close, at the Gorge Amphitheatre (August 29-31) and Berkeley’s Greek Theatre (September 5-7). DMB has enlisted a range of openers including State Radio, (who will staring on May 30 at the Post-Gazette Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA), Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings (June 6 and September 5-7), The Black Crowes (June 7 & 27, August 9 & 10), Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (June 20,21, 24) Michael Franti and Spearhead (June 25 & 28, July 1 & 2), Gomez (July 7,9,11,12), Willie Nelson (August 1 ,2) and O.A.R. (August 29-31). The band promises to debut some some songs from its forthcoming release over the course of the tour, with tickets on sale today to fan club members.
