New Monsoon has lined up a short run of New Years shows. The outing will begin with an opening spot for Leftover Salmon at Denvers Ogden Theater on December 28 and include a pair of performances at Austins Club 115 from December 30-31. The group will also play two special shows at its old stomping ground, Fairfax, CAs 19 Broadway, on December 7 and 8. Fridays performance will include a rare acoustic set and New Monsoon will host a family picnic for friends and fans the afternoon of December 8. Looking ahead, the group will headline San Franciscos The Fillmore on February 9, with a special version of EOTO featuring Michael Kang supplying support duties.
