Carlos Santana spent most of 2007 off the road writing, relaxing and dealing with a variety of personal issues (including a separation from his lifetime wife Deborah), but will return to active duty in 2008. The guitarist will travel to Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand beginning with a performance in Dubai on February 15. In the coming months Santana will also headline a series of European dates beginning in Birmingham, England on June 20 and concluding in Brosarp, Sweden on July 16. It is not known whether or not the guitarist plans to release an album of new material in 2008.
