Last Thursday former String Cheese Incident percussionists Michael Travis and Jason Hann sat in on a music therapy class at St. Louis The Delta Gamma Center while on the road with their live looping group EOTO. The Center helps blind and visually impaired children ages 3 months to 3 years realize their potential through individualized education and therapy courses. Travis and Hann joined the children and their parents for a special music therapy class at the invitation of The Mimi Fishman Foundation director David Shulman. While at the center, Shulman, Travis and Hann also presented a $5,000 check to The Delta Gamma Center, bringing the Foundations total contribution to The Center to over $53,000. EOTO then returned to Colorado for Halloween show featuring Zilla, Glitch Mob, EOTO and Sporque at Denvers Ogden Theatre. The gig marks the first time all four interconnected bands have shared the same stage.
Next up for the Mimi Fishman Foundation is an auction benefiting Rock the Earth, Our Future Now, and Conscious Alliance, while Travis will perform with Zilla at San Franciscos 12 Galaxies from December 14-15.
