Grace Potter has taken the stage with Govt Mule on numerous occasions throughout her fall tour opening for the jam-titans, usually sitting-in on the final song of the groups first set. Last night was no different and the rising star, who is featured on the cover of the October digital only issue of Relix, played with Govt Mule on a version of The Rolling Stones Honky Tonk Women. In addition, on Monday Warren Haynes performed with a less well known, but no less important, guest of honor in New Orleans. After handing over a set of keys to New Orleans bassist Thomas McDonald, the recipient of the Warren Haynes Habitat for Humanity home, Haynes took the stage with McDonald at the intimate Cafe Negril in New Orleans. Govt Mule and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals will appear at Indianapolis, INs Vogue Theater this evening.
