Hot Buttered Rum, the purveyors of self-described high altitude bluegrass music, have found a proper elevation for their New Years Eve performance. The group will travel to Colorado for a two night New Years Eve stand in Denver. HBR will appear at the newly-renovated Oriental Theatre on December 30 and 31, making it quite a few days for area bluegrass fans with the Yonder Mountain String Band at the Fillmore from December 29-31. Tonight, Hot Buttered Rum is at the Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines, IA and will begin its tour with Railroad Earth in Tulsa on Monday.
