Like the first three nights of his run, Belew offered an opening set and performed with Umphreys McGee for the later chunk of its show. He returned during Umphreys McGees encore for a take on the Beatles I Want You (She’s So Heavy) and his own Thela Hun Ginjeet. On Friday Belew also joined Umphreys McGee for a handful of songs at Pontiac, MIs Clutch Cargos, including the Beatles’ Baby You’re a Rich Man, a Jazz Odyssey jam, #5, Thela Hun Ginjeet, and Thin Air.
Umphreys McGee will perform at Madison, WIs Orpheum Theater this Thursday .
