The Joshua Tree Music Festival will return for a fifth go-round on May 18-20. The fest will take place in Joshua Tree, California just outside the Joshua Tree National Park in the Mojave Desert (where the average high temperature in May is 93, with a low of 76, so sunscreen, hats and ample portable fluids are recommended). Confirmed for this years event are the New Deal (whose performances are few and far between these days) along with Los Amigos Invisibles, Garaj Mahal, Pnuma Trio, Kokolo Afrobeat Orchestra, Trampled by Turtles and Omar Torrez. Additional performers will be announced in the months to come but Early Bird festival passes are on sale now.
