Bassist Ben Bernstein has parted ways with New Monsoon. Bernstein joined New Monsoon in February of 2004 and appears on the groups Jammy-nominated album, _Live at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival _ and its recent studio disc, The Sound. New Monsoon will be making an official announcement in the coming days about their plans to fill their bass chair. According to the group , Ben expresses his gratitude to all the fans and hopes to see them down the road in another project. New Monsoon wishes Ben the best of luck with future endeavors.
