While in Austin for Galactics performance at ACL Saturday, Stanton Moore will play a pair of pickup gigs. On Saturday, Moore, Austin resident Papa Mali, Galactic bassist Robert Mercurio and Galactic keyboardist Rich Vogel will perform together at Jovita’s. On Sunday, the Stanton Moore Trio featuring Robert Walter and Will Bernard will perform at the citys Parish Room. The drummer will then head home to New Orleans for a show with Walter and Cranston Clement at Chickie Wa Wa Monday. The always busy Moore will also perform with Garage a Trois at Brazils Tudo e Jazz.
