Confirming rumors that have spread over the past few days, Widespread Panic guitarist George McConnell is not performing with the band this evening at the Palace Theatre in Louisville. John Keane, who has been with the group throughout the summer tour on guitar and pedal steel, is once again in that role tonight. The band has not issued a statement as to whether McConnells departure is for the short or long term. Panic returns to the Palace tomorrow.
