Trey Anastasio joined Phil Lesh & Friends for the groups second set on Monday at the New England Dodge Music Center in Hartford (much as he had the preceding Friday in Camden). Anastasio stepped up to sing lead on the Garcia/Hunter composition Candyman as well as the first verse of Bertha. The latter song appeared in the midst of a segued section of the set that began with Viola Lee Blues, drifted into Shakedown on Ninth Street, moved back into Viola Lee, charged into Bertha and then concluded the set with Viola Lee. GRAB closed the night in fine form and offered two new covers, Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey and Stuck In the Middle With You, with Anastasio contributing some fitting megaphone to the former selection.
