moe.down 7 will present multiple sets by moe. and the group’s extended family of bands (including Before Cowboys which presents the music of Diane Schnier, wife of moe guitarist Al Schnier). In addition the event will bring together members of another notable northeast group. Mike Gordon, Page McConnell and Jon Fishman are among the latest additions to the festival. Gordon will perform with Ramble Dove while McConnell, who is currently working on a new album, will appear with Fishman as well as Adam Zimmon, Bob O’Dea and Jared Slomoff. Also confirmed is Banyan featuring Stephen Perkins. moe.down will take place in Turn, NY on September 1-3. Rumors that Trey Anastasio has signed on for the first annual Jambands.com/Relix Home Run Derby are unfounded (details on the Derby to come soon).
